Buyer's Guide

The Best Tradovate Trade Copier for Prop Accounts

The best Tradovate trade copier depends on where you place trades and what followers need to hold. Manual Tradovate orders, trades from TradingView's native broker connection, and automated webhook alerts are three different starting points.

CrossTrade supports all three through its cloud copier. Tradecopia and TradeSyncer cover additional platforms; Replikanto fits an always-on NinjaTrader 8 setup. This CrossTrade-written guide compares their runtime, bracket behavior, sizing and cost.

Buying Criteria

Five questions that actually separate these products

Copy latency is only one part of execution quality. Check what triggers the copy, which orders reach the followers and how the service handles failures:

  • Does anything have to stay running? A desktop app that must stay awake is a different operational commitment from a service that runs without you, and vendors price these differently.
  • What happens when the leader's order is rejected? If copies dispatch on submission rather than on broker acknowledgment, a refused leader order can still produce live follower positions that cannot be recalled.
  • Do followers hold their own stops and targets? Copying an exit fill at market differs from placing a resting protective order on each follower. Check the selected mode, not just whether the vendor advertises brackets.
  • Does the log tell the truth? A copy reported as canceled when it actually filled is worse than no log.
  • Which platforms do you genuinely need? Coverage you will never use is not worth paying for. Coverage you need and do not have is a dealbreaker.

Tradovate copiers compared

Tradecopia

$49.99 desktop Β· $79.99 / $149.99 hosted per month

Best fit for traders who need additional broker connections, especially Rithmic or TopstepX, with a choice of desktop or hosted operation.

Strengths

  • Lists Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Rithmic, TopstepX and TradingView
  • Desktop app for Windows and macOS; browser access on hosted plans
  • Trade history, performance analytics and per-account risk controls
  • Prop Firm Consistency Calculator with per-firm presets
  • Unlimited follower accounts on all tiers
  • TradingView strategy webhooks with TP/SL on Pro+ Lite and Pro+

Limits

  • The $49.99 desktop tier requires the app to keep running
  • Hosted operation has standard monthly prices of $79.99 or $149.99
  • Advertised quarterly equivalents of $34.99 / $59.99 / $119.99 require a term commitment
  • TradingView strategy webhooks are listed for hosted plans, not the desktop Pro tier
Verdict: a useful option when you need Rithmic or TopstepX support, or prefer a macOS desktop app. Compare the hosted price if your computer must be off or your strategy needs webhook routing. See the full comparison.

TradeSyncer

$49 Β· $99 Β· $149 per month

Best fit for traders who want cloud copying across a broader set of brokers and trading platforms.

Strengths

  • Cloud-only with no install and no VPS on any tier
  • Platform directory includes Rithmic, NinjaTrader, Quantower, ATAS and Sierra Chart
  • Copying, brackets, risk management and journaling listed on Basic
  • Manual Tradovate trades and TradingView via Tradovate
  • Bracket/OCO updates and per-account multipliers

Limits

  • Basic allows 2 connections with 10 accounts per connection
  • Pro allows 4 connections with 20 accounts per connection
  • Flex includes 120 accounts; additional capacity changes the price
  • The documented TradingView path uses its Tradovate broker connection; check separately for alert-webhook requirements
Verdict: a strong candidate for a mixed-platform cloud setup. Count both connections and accounts before comparing prices. See the full comparison.

Replikanto

Annual or lifetime, licensed per computer

Best fit for traders who already keep NinjaTrader 8 running and want local copying, detailed sizing and follower ATM exits.

Strengths

  • Copies manual, ATM and OCO orders through NT8
  • Tradovate web, mobile and TradingView trades supported with a Tradovate leader
  • Seven sizing methods and optional follower ATM exits
  • Local, LAN and internet copying options

Limits

  • NinjaTrader must be running and connected
  • Each computer needs a license
  • Internet copying also requires Submit credits
Verdict: a legitimate Tradovate copying option when NT8 is part of your setup. Include workstation or VPS costs when comparing it with a cloud service. Read more.
Prop Firm Rules

What no copier can do for you

Every vendor on this page, including us, states that compliance with a prop firm's rules is the trader's responsibility. That is not legal throat-clearing. Firms differ on whether copying is permitted at all, on how many accounts may trade in concert, and on what counts as a consistency violation, and those rules change without notice.

Tooling can help you stay inside a rule you already understand. It cannot tell you the rule, and a vendor claiming to guarantee compliance is selling you a risk they cannot carry. Read your firm's current agreement before you map a single follower.

Test the failure path before you trust it

Rebuild one mapping in simulation. Check entry, partial exit, stop/target changes, a rejected order and a reconnect. Confirm the follower orders match the behavior you chose.

Tradovate buying checklist

Choose by the trade source, not just the platform logo

Two services can both list Tradovate while responding to different events. Compare the workflow you actually trade, particularly if you mix alerts with manual orders.

Alerts and multi-account routing

If every entry arrives through TradingView alerts, compare supported order messages, bracket behavior and account sizing. Parallel alert placement does not by itself establish that later manual activity on a leader will be copied.

Manual fills and resting orders

If you trade inside Tradovate or TradingView’s trading panel, verify broker-level monitoring. With CrossTrade, Execution mode copies fills at market; Order mode is beta and mirrors working orders. Execution followers do not receive their own resting bracket from a fill alone.

Hosting and account permissions

Confirm what must stay running, which identities can be paired and your firm’s current rules. CrossTrade’s direct Tradovate copier needs no desktop relay. Same-environment pairs under one login are the validated configuration; test other supported configurations before relying on them.
