CrossTrade vs TradersPost
One meters your accounts and asset classes, $49 to $299 a month plus $10 per extra account. The other is flat-priced with the whole toolkit included.
You trade futures on NinjaTrader 8 or Tradovate. You get ~30ms native NT8 execution, GA Tradovate cloud routing with ATM templates nobody else has, and unlimited accounts at one flat price with the copier, risk suite, journal, and API included.
You actively trade stocks, options, or crypto across multiple brokers. Asset-class breadth is TradersPost's edge, and you should expect to pay their Premium tier to use all of it.

Why CrossTrade is the stronger overall value
CrossTrade is the clear choice when:
- You're on NinjaTrader 8 and want the fastest execution path (~30ms, inside NT8)
- You automate TradingView to Tradovate and would rather pay $29/mo than $49/mo for one account
- You want saved ATM bracket templates on Tradovate, which no other platform offers
- You run multiple accounts and refuse to pay $10/mo each for the privilege
- You want a real trade copier, risk suite, journal, and API in one subscription, not billed add-ons
- You trade Tradovate-based funded accounts (Apex, Topstep, etc.) and don't want per-account fees stacking
Consider TradersPost only when:
- You trade stocks or options as well as futures. TradersPost spans more asset classes
- You want broker flexibility (TradeStation, IBKR, Robinhood, Coinbase, etc.)
- You don't use NinjaTrader 8 or Tradovate and don't plan to
- You need TrendSpider integration alongside TradingView
Switching from TradersPost to CrossTrade
CrossTrade's Automation Wizard includes a JSON Converter that translates your existing TradersPost JSON payloads into CrossTrade's command format. Paste the JSON, get the converted command, point the alert at your new webhook URL. If you run more than one live account, the switch usually pays for itself in the first month.
Frequently asked questions
How does pricing compare for multi-account traders?
TradersPost meters accounts. Starter is $49/mo for one live account, Basic is $99/mo for two, Pro is $199/mo for three, Premium is $299/mo for six, and every additional live account is $10/mo on top. Five live accounts costs roughly $89/mo at minimum. CrossTrade is flat: $29/mo Standard or $49/mo Pro, unlimited accounts on every plan, no per-account fees ever. The more accounts you run, the wider the gap gets.
Does TradersPost limit asset classes by plan?
Yes. Starter unlocks one asset class, Basic two, Pro three, and only Premium at $299/mo covers all of them. CrossTrade is built for futures traders on NinjaTrader 8 and Tradovate, and every plan includes everything the platform does for those markets. You never pay extra to unlock the market you trade.
Does CrossTrade support Tradovate now?
Yes. Tradovate cloud routing is generally available on every CrossTrade plan starting at $29/mo. Link over OAuth with no desktop app or VPS, add destination=tradovate; to your alert, and orders route in the cloud. CrossTrade also offers saved ATM bracket templates on Tradovate, which we haven't found on any other TradingView automation platform, TradersPost included.
Why is CrossTrade faster than TradersPost on NT8 trades?
Architecture. CrossTrade installs as a NinjaTrader 8 Add-On running inside your NT8 instance. Webhook signals reach the Add-On through a persistent WebSocket and execute locally via NT8's Automated Trading Interface, averaging ~30ms. TradersPost has no NT8 integration at all; the closest route is through Tradovate's cloud API at ~200ms. For latency-sensitive strategies, the difference is meaningful.
Does TradersPost have a trade copier?
Not really. TradersPost can route the same alert to multiple connected accounts, and it bills you $10/mo for each additional live account it routes to. CrossTrade's Trade Copier is an actual copier: desync detection every 3 seconds, Stealth Mode, Tandem Mode binding to risk parameters, ratio sizing, and trade inversion, included in the $49/mo Pro plan with no per-account billing.
Can TradersPost trade my Apex Trader Funding account?
Yes, through Tradovate, and each funded account is another $10/mo add-on. CrossTrade links Tradovate-based funded firms like Apex and Topstep over Tradovate's own OAuth at no per-account cost, flags every order as automated as Tradovate requires, and adds prop-aware risk tooling: per-account loss limits, trailing drawdown tracking, and end-of-day flatten. Check your firm's automation rules before going live on either platform.
Will CrossTrade support stocks or options like TradersPost?
Not currently. CrossTrade is futures-only across NinjaTrader 8 and Tradovate, and the roadmap deepens those integrations rather than spreading thin across asset classes. If you actively trade stocks, options, or crypto, TradersPost is the right choice. If you trade futures, you would be paying TradersPost asset-class prices for markets you never touch.
Does CrossTrade work with TradersPost-formatted webhook alerts?
Yes. CrossTrade's JSON Converter accepts TradersPost-formatted payloads and translates them into CrossTrade's command syntax. Paste your existing alert in the Automation Wizard's preview panel and it maps the fields automatically. No rebuilding alerts from scratch.
Can I use both CrossTrade and TradersPost?
Technically yes, but for a futures trader it means paying twice for one job. CrossTrade covers the NT8 and Tradovate paths faster and cheaper, with the copier, risk suite, journal, and API included. TradersPost earns its keep only if you also trade asset classes CrossTrade doesn't touch.
