CrossTrade vs PickMyTrade
Both send TradingView alerts to Tradovate. Only one includes ATM templates, a trade copier, risk monitors, a journal, and an API. It's also the cheaper one.
You trade futures on Tradovate or NinjaTrader 8. CrossTrade routes TradingView to both natively, adds saved ATM templates for Tradovate that nobody else offers, and starts at $29/mo with the full toolkit included.
You need brokers CrossTrade doesn't touch: Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, TradeLocker. Multi-broker breadth beyond futures is PickMyTrade's remaining edge.

Why CrossTrade is the stronger overall value
CrossTrade is the clear choice when:
- You automate TradingView to Tradovate. CrossTrade does it for $29/mo instead of $50
- You want saved ATM bracket templates on Tradovate. CrossTrade is the only platform we know of that has them
- NinjaTrader 8 is your platform. The native Add-On executes in ~30ms, not ~200ms through a broker API
- You want the copier, risk monitors, journal, charts, and API bundled instead of paying $50/mo for webhooks alone
- You trade Apex, Topstep, or other Tradovate-based funded accounts and want OAuth linking plus prop-aware risk tools
Consider PickMyTrade only when:
- You trade Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, or TradeLocker
- You need non-futures assets through those brokers
- You want one dashboard across several brokers CrossTrade doesn't support
Switching from PickMyTrade to CrossTrade
CrossTrade's JSON Converter accepts PickMyTrade-formatted webhook payloads. Paste the JSON, get the equivalent CrossTrade command, point the alert at your new webhook URL. Most traders are moved over in an afternoon, and the first month pays for the difference.
Frequently asked questions
Does CrossTrade support Tradovate like PickMyTrade?
Yes, and it costs less. Tradovate cloud routing is generally available on every CrossTrade plan starting at $29/mo. Link your account with OAuth, add destination=tradovate; to your alert, and orders route in the cloud with no desktop app and no VPS. PickMyTrade charges $50/mo for the same TradingView-to-Tradovate route.
Is PickMyTrade cheaper than CrossTrade?
No. PickMyTrade is $50/mo. CrossTrade Standard is $29/mo and covers the same TradingView-to-Tradovate automation plus native NinjaTrader 8, the trade journal, and the manual trading dashboard. Even CrossTrade Pro at $49/mo, which adds the Trade Copier, the Account Manager risk suite, and the full REST API, is still cheaper than PickMyTrade's single plan.
Who has ATM templates for Tradovate?
CrossTrade. Saved ATM-style bracket templates, entries with attached targets, stops, and risk behavior, work on Tradovate through CrossTrade's cloud connection. We haven't found another TradingView automation platform that offers saved ATM templates for Tradovate. PickMyTrade configures exits per alert instead of from a saved template.
Does PickMyTrade work with NinjaTrader 8?
Not natively. PickMyTrade supports Rithmic, which can route to NT8 indirectly, but it is not a native NT8 integration like CrossTrade's Add-On. If NinjaTrader 8 is your platform, CrossTrade executes inside it at ~30ms.
Which is faster, CrossTrade or PickMyTrade?
On NinjaTrader 8, CrossTrade averages ~30ms alert-to-execution through its native Add-On; PickMyTrade cloud-routes at ~200ms. On Tradovate both platforms go through Tradovate's cloud API, so raw speed is comparable there. The difference on Tradovate is what comes with the route: CrossTrade's costs $21/mo less and includes the rest of the toolkit.
Can I migrate my PickMyTrade alerts to CrossTrade?
Yes. CrossTrade's Automation Wizard includes a JSON Converter that accepts PickMyTrade payload format and translates it to CrossTrade syntax. Paste the JSON, click convert, done.
Does PickMyTrade support prop firms?
Yes, and so does CrossTrade. Apex, Topstep, and other Tradovate-based funded firms link to CrossTrade through Tradovate's own OAuth (Link Demo covers evaluation and funded accounts), and CrossTrade flags every order it places as automated, which Tradovate requires. Check your firm's automation rules before going live; that responsibility is yours on either platform.
What does PickMyTrade still do better?
Broker breadth beyond futures. PickMyTrade connects Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, TradeLocker, and other brokers in one dashboard. If you need those, it is the right tool. If you trade futures on NinjaTrader 8 or Tradovate, you would be paying $50/mo for routing that CrossTrade does from $29/mo with far more included.
Is there a free trial for either?
Both offer trials. CrossTrade has a 7-day free trial with full feature access including Pro features. PickMyTrade offers a 5-day free trial. Test both with your actual workflow before committing.
Same Tradovate automation. $21/mo less. A lot more included.
Free 7-day trial with full Pro features and no credit card. Link Tradovate over OAuth and route your first cloud order today.
