Run the numbers. A Replikanto lifetime license runs up to $399, and copying between machines needs remote credits on top ($15 and up). CrossTrade Pro is $49/mo, so the license alone equals about eight months of Pro. The difference is what you own at the end: Replikanto is a copier, full stop. Pro is the copier plus TradingView webhooks, the Account Manager risk suite, the trade journal, live charts, and the REST API. If copying is genuinely the only thing you will ever need, the one-time license can win after year one. Most automated traders need more than copying.

No to both. Replikanto is a trade copier that runs inside NinjaTrader 8. There is no webhook automation, and there is no standalone Tradovate support. CrossTrade automates TradingView to both NT8 and Tradovate in the cloud, including saved ATM bracket templates on Tradovate that no other platform we know of offers, and its copier is one bundled feature among many.

Both execute locally inside NT8 once an order fires, so raw replication latency is comparable (low single-digit milliseconds). CrossTrade's Auto-Sync runs every 3 seconds in the background; Replikanto's Follower Guard is reactive. The architectural difference matters more for reliability than raw speed.

Two reasons. First, your copier config persists across NT8 crashes; when you restart NT8, your settings are still there. Second, the sync logic doesn't compete with NinjaTrader for CPU during heavy market activity. Replikanto's in-process architecture is simpler but couples copier health to NT8 health.

Every receiving account must be yours. For order-level cross-machine sync, Replikanto still wins; for copying your trades across your own NT8 machines, CrossTrade covers it without credits.

Tandem Mode binds CrossTrade's Trade Copier to your Account Manager risk parameters. If your daily loss limit triggers, copying stops immediately on every linked follower. Replikanto's Follower Guard is reactive; it closes positions after detecting issues, but doesn't tie copying to a continuous risk monitoring system. Tandem Mode is preventive, and Replikanto has no risk suite to bind to.

Technically yes, but it's redundant. Both copiers operate on the same NT8 account events. If you're testing CrossTrade's copier, disable Replikanto first to avoid double-copying.

Replikanto has a larger community on NinjaTrader forums and Discord. CrossTrade has a Discord with the founders responding directly, plus live chat for paid plans. Different vibes. Replikanto is community-driven, CrossTrade is more direct-from-builder.

It's designed to be. Auto-Sync runs every 3 seconds, order mapping survives disconnects and NT8 restarts, and Tandem Mode stops copying when risk parameters trigger. That said, no copier is flawless and we recommend monitoring during live use, especially for the first few sessions.
